Clever, Not-Lazy Title

As it has now been over a year since I posted anything here, I decided I should write something. I don’t know what, but I’m sure my fingers will think of something if I just keep typing.

I’m still working on the last of the Assassin trilogy, but it doesn’t seem to want to end despite already being over 135,000 words. After that, it will be on to the last of the Fear trilogy, in which both trilogies come together. I’ve decided to call it an interleaved dual-trilogy saga, because I can. Until I decide it sounds pretentious. I made an amazing and professional graphic to show the read order.

Every bit of the 19 years I’ve been using Photoshop is on display here. See how the colours don’t clash or merge into the background at all, and it’s very clear? That’s professionalism.

I have no idea when the book will be out, not only because it’s not finished, but also because after a year and half of job hunting, all I have for now is an Everest of rejections. So, unless I release it without editing or proofreading or a cover, it will have to wait longer than usual. There go the dreams of audiobooks…

Earlier in the year, I wrote my tenth book (fittingly, in ten weeks). It was nothing to do with anything I’ve written before – I decided to try an action adventure. I like how it turned out and I’ll probably try doing something with it, somehow, at some point. You can be sure of that, probably.

And that, other than discovering that mine are among the millions of books stolen by multi-billion-dollar tech giants to feed their plagiarism machines and I can’t be part of the law suits because I’m not American, is the only change since my last post. What a full and interesting life I lead.

When I find the mood somewhere inside me, I intend to write more of my critically acclaimed, or at least criticised, Writer’s Guide…guides. Otherwise, expect an update with little to no substance in another year!

Also, I watched Murderbot – that’s good. Read the books.
